16 weeks worth of material crammed into 5
my dean says "you'd better do DAMN good in this class or you're going to sit out the next two semesters"

class starts tomorrow
the next year of my life - begins tomorrow
if i fail (yet again) i'm out
and i could possibly lose any and all motivation to finish my degree
An object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion will remain in motion unless acted on by an outside force.
right now: i'm in motion.
and i'm doing everything in my power to stay that way
physics will NOT stop me
it can't
i won't allow it
i need an A in this class
it's the only way to prove to my dean that no outside force can stop me...
this weekend i went to a wedding
during the wedding i receive a text that my sister had her baby
and then i realize that life is happening
all around me
and it's great
i'm just trying to figure out how to get mine into 1st gear
it's somewhere around here...

this was the philosophy that i developed throughout this year. it's a class, right? that means that every problem that is given to you was DESIGNED for you to find an answer. none of that real life shit where it could go this way, or that way.... there's going to be an answer. does that make sense? none of it is going to be impossible is what i'm trying to say, i guess.
you've dealt with real life, so i know you can do this. really pulling for you, chriselda. plus, if i can learn to spell your name right, i'm pretty sure you can learn the rules of motion and such. love you.

You can totally do it girl. From what I've read you're intelligent and motivated so I have no doubts that you'll pass with flying colors!
As a person who was stressed by physics once upon a time I can tell you just do it -- make it happen! I know you are capable. And for me, looking back 6 years ago it is just a faint memory.
Argh!!! The physics stress. I can identify with you with having to get that physics credit... The only thing that got me through was that I had a good TA for my tutorial (she reminded me of Phoebe from Friends excpet good at physics).
